Giving up on something drives me crazy. It doesn’t give me delight and it makes me wonder how strong I am as an individual. We go through things in life that are beyond our control, but how do we deal with them. Some people say time heals all wounds, but are all wounds worth healing? So the question is do I walk away or try harder?
You are the center of your universe and you should always be your first priority. Do what you think would be best for you, but don’t regret your decision. Although it may seem hard the first time around because it may be something you wanted to work out, just trust in the choice you made because you have to live with that decision.
Life is hard and it wasn’t made to be easy, but I will give you some insight on whether to walk away or try harder.
To Walk Away?
To walk away is to simply stop the situation and don’t look back. Accept it for what it is and accept the choice you have decided to make. At some point you have to realize that some people can stay in your heart, but not your life. Everyone is not meant to be with your forever. Some people are here for seasons, and once that season is over they time is done. You can’t look at it as a bad thing because they have served they purpose in your life. They would have either brought you something, taught you something or taken something away. Look at this as a lesson and learn from what this person has brought to your life.
To Try Harder?
The fear of failure should not be an excuse not to try harder, it should be the reason you try harder so you won’t fail. You never know how things are going to turn out unless you try harder. You don’t need to know the outcome but just know you did everything in your power for a positive one.
Life is full or ups and downs. It is like a rollercoaster ride, and you can’t just hope of it when things get shaky and scary. You must see it through to the end. Decide what is best for you whether it’s trying harder or walking away, but always put your best foot forward and hope for the best.
